How to deal with acne + my acne story/journey

Hi guys,

My friend told me to do a more talky post so that's what I'm doing. So I'm going to tell you about when my acne started and how I coped with it and I'm going to give you guys some tips about it.

So my acne started in year 6 which was 3 - 4 years ago so I would have been 9 - 10 and at first I wasn't really bothered because I thought it was normal as my body was developing aswell and it didn't bother me. But then I realised I was the only one getting spots but as I was still young I acted as if it was normal because I still had all my friends and it didn't worry me.

Then when I went up to year 7 it got slightly worse and I got a bit more self conscious about it and I thought that I wasn't normal because nobody else had spots and acne. It seemed as though everyone else was perfect then there was me but I got through it. Also during this time I went to the doctors to see what they could do but that didn't help it just made it worse. I got through that year though and it was fine.

In year 8 again it started getting slightly worse and it seemed uncontrollable. I then got slightly more self conscious about it and would wear my hair more down but I then met my real friends who I'm still friends with now and I started to feel more accepted into this society at school and when the summer came my acne got better and I got more confident.

I'm now in year 9 and I still have acne, I'm still self conscious but I'm dealing with it. Also I get very self conscious when presenting because I feel like everyone is judging me and that's when I start shaking and can't breathe but I've got friends to help me with that so its ok. I'm now at that point where I care but not as much as I did although I'm still very self conscious and wear my hair down more so you can't see it as much but I'm ok about that. I have friends that help me through and tell me I look fine which is amazing and I know what works for my skin and what doesn't.

So there's my acne story guys... Sorry it's so long. Now onto the tips -

- Don't be scared to try new products.
- Keep your skin clean.
- Try not to touch your face too much throughout the day.
- Try not to stress out too much as this can cause outbreaks.
- Surround yourself with people that are nice to you and that compliment you.
- Don't use too much makeup.

So that's it guys.

Thanks for reading.

February Favourites!!

Hey guys,

I'm back and today I'm going to be doing my February favorites so lets go.

Music - Pillow talk by Zayn Malik

This is very catchy and is quite relaxing especially when your chilling in the bath.

Clothing - Lounge pants and Pajamas

I love Lounge pants and pajamas because they are comfy and versatile so you can sleep in them comfily and chill in them and still be comfy.

Lip balm - Nivea lip butter in Blueberry Blush

This is amazing as it goes on smooth and keeps you lips hydrated for ages and it also has an amazing scent and taste.

Apps - Instagram

This is good for making new friends and for keeping up with the celeb gossip.

School Subject - Geography

I have been loving this lesson lately because I find that its useful and easy. Also my friends are in there so we can chat without getting caught haha.

Food - Dominoes pizza

I had this for the first time last week and I fell in love. They have quick delivery and taste awesome.

Hairstyle - Straightened

I like my hair straight as it looks the best for my face shape and frames my face nicely.

Review - Essence Lipstick

Hi guys,

Today I'm going to be reviewing the essence lipstick.

I absolutely love the essence lipsticks because they're really creamy and go on very easily. The colours are absolutely gorgeous aswell.

The packaging is very professional and looks very stylish.

Although you don't get a lot on the stick but a little goes a long way.

The shade that I use is number 14 and is called Adorable Matte!

If you have a chance to buy one I recommend as they are amazing in all ways.

Make-up Revolution London - Review

Hi guys,

I'm going to start reviewing a different item of makeup every week for you guys as you seem to like them.

So today I'm going to be reviewing one of the Revolution palettes. The one I will be reviewing is the Beyond Flawless palette.

As you can see the outer packaging is this gorgeous shiny gold.

This is the palette out of the packaging and I love how it looks really professional and really pretty to have in your collection.

When you open the palette it has this sheet of plastic with all the colour names on so you know what colour it is. I also like how they've mixed matte colours with the more sparkly ones to make an amazing palette.

The colours are also very pigmented and are very easy to blend together.
They are also affordable and worth the money. These palettes cost £8 so if you find one I definitely recommend them.

If there's anything you want me to review leave some comments down below.
